PEDICURE MAINTENANCE

How often should you get a pedicure?

There is no magic calendar date. Your ideal schedule depends on nail growth, polish, skin dryness, footwear, activity and how fresh you want your pedicure to look.

A practical starting point: many people like roughly every 3–4 weeks for routine cosmetic maintenance, then adjust earlier or later based on personal preference.

Three common schedules

2–3 weeks

For guests who want polish looking very fresh or have frequent events.

3–4 weeks

A common rhythm for nail shaping, polish refresh and basic skin care.

As needed

A good fit if you book mainly for special occasions or relaxation.

Regular polish vs gel changes the timing

Regular polish may show wear sooner, while gel color can remain glossy longer. But polish durability is only one part of the decision—your nails continue to grow and the overall finish changes between visits.

Dry skin and daily life

West Texas weather, open-back shoes, work footwear and time on your feet can all affect how quickly your feet feel dry. Moisturizing at home can help the result look better between appointments.

Before vacations and events

If your pedicure is for a wedding, vacation or important event, book with enough time that you are not rushing on the same day. If you already know the color or finish you want, bring a photo.

Keep the schedule personal

You do not need a pedicure simply because a certain number of weeks has passed. Book when the polish, nail growth or overall look is ready for a refresh—or when you simply want the salon experience again.
