How long does gel last?
Wear varies with nail condition, growth, application and what your hands go through every day. Many clients plan their next visit around visible growth or when the finish no longer looks fresh rather than waiting for the product to fail completely.
Gel vs dip vs acrylic
Gel polish is primarily a color system on the natural nail. Dip adds more strength and thickness. Acrylic is the better-known option when you want substantial structure, extensions or dramatic length. If your priority is simply glossy color on your natural nails, gel is often the cleanest starting point.
Removal matters
Do not peel cured gel off. Peeling can take layers of the natural nail with it. Proper removal takes more patience but is the better choice for keeping the nail plate in good condition between services.
French or solid color?
Solid color is simple and versatile. French gives a more defined tip and requires extra detail, which is why it is priced differently on Annie's menu. Bring a photo if you have a particular French thickness, shape or color combination in mind.
